Almond pastes represent another cornerstone of the Sicilian confectionery tradition: the peeled almonds are finely refined until obtaining a thin flour which is then combined with egg white, sugar, honey and flavourings, obtaining a soft paste which enhances the fragrant almond essence. The almond pastes are individually packaged in a transparent bag.
